Desert Bloom is an indie rock band from Las Vegas. They bring a gritty pop sensibility to emotionally-driven, alternative indie rock. The trio writes, records, and produces everything themselves, even while apart from one another. They have also gone from playing garages in high school to performing on several local stages. The trio just released their newest single, “Ladybug”, with more music on the way.

Mariachi Joya de Las Vegas HS comes from one of CCSD’s newest mariachi programs. With nearly nearly 250 students enrolled in the program, Joya is made up of the top 5% of those young musicians. Since its founding in late 2018, Joya has performed at many events, competitions, and festivals across the valley. During his campaign, Mariachi Joya had the opportunity to perform for President Joe Biden. Most recently, Mariachi Joya represented the State of Nevada at the 2021 Presidential Inauguration. The ensemble will be releasing its debut album “JOYA” on June 11th, which was fully rehearsed and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic.
