Happy 10 Year Anniversary, Mondays Dark!

On December 11, 2023 Mondays Dark celebrated 10 amazing years of giving back and raising more than $2 million for the Vegas community, at a dynamic year-end anniversary spectacular.

Selling out the venue, over 2,000 locals gathered to witness the nonprofit’s milestone at the iconic Pearl Concert Theater inside Palms Casino Resort to raise money for the area’s most important local charities. Guests enjoyed a stellar night of entertainment from Vegas’ top entertainers, including Magic Mike Live, Spiegelworld’s Atomic Saloon Show, Super Cr3w, Lady Like – A Retro Modern Burlesque Show, Opportunity Village’s  OV Elvi Dance Troupe, The Vegas Golden Knights’ Drumbots and many more. Silent and live auction packages ranged from vacations and staycations to artwork, show and concert tickets, dining packages, spa treatments, jewelry and more and earned thousands in donations that evening alone.

“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years!” Mark Shunock, creator of Mondays Dark and founder of The Space, said to 8 News Now. “Mondays Dark has become so much more than just a Monday night concert. It has become a staple in our nonprofit community. We will continue to change the way people think about giving back and I’m so excited for what’s to come with this organization.”

Founder Mark Shunock started Mondays Dark in 2013 while starring in the hit Broadway musical, “Rock of Ages” and the sexy smash hit “Magic Mike Live.”  Since then, Mondays Dark has been named “Best of the City” from Vegas Seven and “Best of Vegas” from Las Vegas Weekly. In addition, Shunock received the 2014 Angel Award for Cultural Advocate/Entertainer of the Year and recently won Best Philanthropist from “Best of Las Vegas” and the Las Vegas Review Journal and the Impact Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Las Vegas Chapter.
