Opera Las Vegas Presents Again and Again and Again

This fast-paced, whacked out fantasy traces a father’s search for his son across four centuries. In rural France in 1789, Pridament, nearing the end of his life, visits the cave of the sorcerer Alcandra and asks him (or is it her?) to help find his estranged son Clément who ran away from him ten years before. Alcandra agrees to show the geezer three visions that will explain his son’s whereabouts under the condition that he does not disrupt the visions in any way. By opera’s end, we have time traveled through one improbable reincarnation after another, as we speculate if father and son will ever be reunited.
